printed with about 15 spot colours (solid colour areas) and four colour process (these colours are cyan, magenta, yellow and black. fine dots printed in the same way as magazine or newspaper images are printed). the grey lines are drawn directly onto the screen before exposing the screen to UV light to create a stencil.
the image is layered with each layer slightly offset. (see below detail)

'the boy as an artist' (detail) screenprint with origami paper 110 x 75 mm unique state
screenprinted by drawing directly onto the screen with pencil and then printed with a screenprint base (medium) two seperate images were printed, cut out and layered together. the image was then placed into a small tin box with a window in the lid.
printed as a maquette for further development.

'the stars' screenprint 10.5 x 14.8 cm unique state
First in a series of postcard sized artworks using a hand drawn stencil technique made directly onto the screen.
A digital reprint has been made. The artwork is placed inside a small box, with a window and has been layered similiar in technique to paper tole.
